The midfielder Set-pieces on corner kicks and free-kicks created chances. Enjoyed freedom to drift in left midfield but was in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Given a well-earned break on the hour mark. 6/10

The star midfielder Functioned in a high role out wide while also did plenty of defensive duties. Demonstrated flashes of quality but mishit an effort over. Substituted towards the end by a teammate, his rival, following a yellow card. 7/10

The winger Was presented with England’s best chance of the first half, his effort well saved from Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah hanging back, he had to provide width out wide but his crosses from the touchline were inconsistent. Substituted with 15 to go. 6

Harry Kane The decisive figure netting two more strikes at international level. The opener a classic close-range tap-in and his next a superb headed goal after peeling away from his marker. At 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play on the left flank. Was presented with a presentable chance after being played in from a teammate however Strakosha made the save. His replacement made much more of effect in his place. Five
