Soccer Expert Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' ten-match winning run was ended by the Black Cats before the international break, but will the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, against AI, readers and a variety of guests.
For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
The singer's latest record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or son decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football team," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a period too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for several years and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is now more potent with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be quite close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look competitive again.
The Hammers' sole away win this season came at Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - can West Ham extending their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to go with the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the season began, but they have surprised a few people under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.
My son told me to get Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
The forward will probably score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had great success on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. The visitors will try to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six games.
Fulham have have lots of quality in their squad but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
Their display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else rough up the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the end of last month.
However I am not choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's home record, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be extremely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and also that the hosts are on a bad run... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

This is a hard one to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but might they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
