The second-hand marketplace Users Express Displeasure Over Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a different size category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and manually change the size where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Updates
Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Manual Updates
Another shopper, based in Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
